This is the greatest place for fish. It's family-owned and family run. The people are friendly helpful and knowledgeable. They bring in the best fresh fish including some wonderful choices from Italy. The restaurant may be the best kept secret in Vaughan. Great chef, great service, freshest fish, what more could you ask for.

Food is good but every time i go in there i get ripped off. Went in there today for the final time in my life. Ordered two veals a slice and a salad. Payed $35. Got no more then 200grams or chickpea salad and half a piece of veal in both sandwiches. Well like they say you can take the wool off sheep over and over but only skin it once. So now that I've been skinned I'll be going elsewhere. Take it easy.

Disappointing. 3 slices of eggplant for over $13. And it wasn't very good. Bland and for "eggplant parm" there was a tiny sprinkle of cheese on top. I have had the veal sandwich in the past and it's pretty good but nothing to write home about.

Worst Italian sandwich I ever had.. I make breaded chicken at home I know when I tenderize it (beat it thinner) that there is no way I can get it halfway Kleenex thin like they gave me without it sticking unable to peel off the wax paper/saran wrap. I by ordering mushrooms did get half a can plus an inch of dripping grease onion. There was no chicken texture, it was not even interesting breading masquerading Kleenex as chicken. My husband got the veal, yes I know veal isn't veal anymore because yeah if you don't know killing baby calf's for young meat named veal isn't allowed anymore- which is good...Whatever...Not going to start that here... so his 'beef' the old school veal is less meat because it's "special more expensive (but it's not anymore it's just pounded thin beef cut) so that's why you don't get as much as chicken for the same price old school rules. But this place still adheres to that 'precious baby calf's veal must give barely) And for sure that $15 chicken Kleenex cutlet must be free range special fed happy chickens that's why you get the equivalent of A cold cut thinly sliced breaded (at least that I may be able understanf they didn't slice it so so thin that they eat it at home laughing at the idiots buying the Kleenex version in a huge bun with not so great sauce. I wish we were assholes because I would have marched back in there and whipped the sandwiches at them. In my whole life I've never seen anyone so cheap. I have the bill to prove it...Just over $30 for two sandwiches. No pop no sides. Just two sandwiches. These people are cheap with a huge bun. If I was a vegan this would be my go to for a canned mushroom and greasy onion sandwich (that's not olive oil no way, nay nay my stomach queased almost threw up two bites. Cheap people. Use olive oil and put some meat in it. I never write bad about anything. I'm the person who when everyone else is complaining says it's not so bad. So to be fair we only went to this place because we were told "it's good check it out, they make awesome ponzos"
Still doesn't explain being cheap in a sandwich
Oh the cheese too. I forgot "cause it was the least of the issue. It was a tiny circle in the centre, something white. It wasn't even melted you could see every hickory stick shred in a tiny tiny pile when you opened the bun. Too bad they're so cheap. Because there are several place close by that I would happily pay $30 for yummy sandwiches. Instead of leaving this cheap skimp on ingredients and flavor place. Feeling severely ripped off place. Normally. I'd forget about it. Take the loss move on.
But I was heading 27 N. And that's what I picked there was no time to head back or pick up food afterwards. That was the stop.
Cheap people. Very cheap. From what we ate I wouldnt even trust the ponzos who knows where they get their ingredients from how they cut corners? Is San Antonio- what is that Texas? Tex Mex? Even known for Italian food? Drive a little bit east down hwy 7 you'll see the better.
